There are only 48 hours left in the Sodalis Campaign!
Less than a week ago, Sodalis reached its funding goal. Since then, we have gained about a thousand more funds raised each day. We are barreling towards the 30K opaque-backed tarot sleeve goal, and it is very likely we will see at least one new Champion in the game.
Why are the last 48 hours so important?
Many backers come to the project page, ask to be reminded about Sodalis, and decide to come back another day. At the 48 hour mark, those reminders get sent out! During this time, magic can happen.
How do we make this end with a bang?
I am firing on all cylinders for outreach to go hand-in-hand with those who will be reminded today. Looking at a project and seeing a pledge being made live can be a really powerful experience when deciding to take a chance on a new project. Any help in getting people to increase their pledge or make a new one would mean the world to me.

Words fail me to express my profound gratitude to each and every one of you for showing up, getting those around you excited, and for taking a chance on a new game designer. Today we strode past the 100% mark and moved all the way to over $21,000!
Seeing the community's excitement around different champions and different game modes shifted my priorities. I decided that Sodalis will most likely have a smaller print run than I expected, and I can use the funds of a lower minimum quantity to make these games as fun as possible!
As such, I have amended the stretch goals to be dramatically lower. I have prioritized two community champions as stretch goals that the community will vote on. (The Unspeakable will be there to be voted on!)
Backers will be able to submit champion ideas through our Community Champion Creator sheet. Claim any "example champion" space with a name, and change the colors to whichever you like!
Each finished champion will be available to vote on. For example:
The Athlete: A mobile melee champion that plays around artifacts
The Watcher: A continuous effect oriented champion with powerful curses
The Tamer: A summoner Champion that can bring additional units to the arena
The Hanged Man: A well-rounded champion that manipulates Spread sizes and cycling
The Seer: A controlling champion that can see upcoming effects and redistribute Arcana.
(These are all real Champion concepts!)
Our Discord loves giving feedback on different ideas and any balancing advice. You don't have to make anything perfectly fine-tuned and balanced, that's my job! But I would love to see your ideas and bring them into the game.

Sodalis - Why wait? Play Sodalis in a tournament Sunday!

Good Afternoon!
Sodalis' momentum has been incredible. We are now at 67% of our funding goal! To celebrate, I want to invite each of you to a Tournament of Sodalis this Sunday! Teams will be in pairs, so bring your friends!
The tournament will use Tabletop Simulator, make sure at least one of you have it! We will use the active Sodalis mod for the tournament.
Tournament Details:
The tournament will take place on the Sodalis Discord Server on May 16th, 2021 at 1:00 PM MST.
Players will compete in teams of two in a best-of-one match! The tournament format will be a 3 Round, Swiss-style (no elimination) tournament. Rounds will be one hour in duration.
Grand Prize: Two $50 Steam gift cards and a free physical copy of Sodalis.
Second Place: Two $25 Steam Gift Cards and Two Sodalis T-Shirts.

Good afternoon!
It has been such a gift to see you all sharing your excitement for Sodalis with friends and family. We are almost at 90%! I believe that we can do this! You all have been so incredible, I am particularly humbled by the beautiful community that has sprung up on the Sodalis Discord.
It is now part of my everyday routine to play a game with someone in the community. By the time we finish our game, the room is full of people calling dibs on the next round! You all have had so many incredible ideas that I was inspired to create a community workshop mod in Tabletop Simulator and create a spreadsheet for new Champions!
